Hand Spliced Tow Ropes – The Benefits

Lots of different businesses and individuals need tow ropes for a variety of reasons. They can prove immensely useful in every towing scenario, from roadside emergencies to agricultural conundrums.

We manufacture tow ropes in our own workshops. Our ropes are made from the highest quality materials and can be equipped with shackles, hooks, and a range of other fittings that are available separately on our site.

7.6 Tonne Tow Rope

Our first offering is in white, 24mm diameter staplespun polypropylene and has a 7.6 tonne minimum breaking load (MBL). Supplied in a 5 metre length as standard with thimble eyes for added structure and rope protection. The kit also included 2 x 3.25 tonne alloy bow shackles and 2 x 1.5 tonne eye hooks complete with safety latches.

10.9 Tonne Tow Rope

Our Green polysteel Super Max Tow rope has a 10.5 tonne MBL and is 28mm in diameter. The kit consists of a 5 metre hand spliced tow rope complete with thimble eyes, 2 x 4.75 tonne alloy bow shackles and 2 x 3 tonne eye hooks with safety latches.

Choosing the right Rope for the job

Like all our hand spliced assemblies, our tow ropes come in a number of different materials and offer varying load capacities according to the nature of their design. It is best to pick a rope that provides a safe working limit that fits in with your expected needs. Its much better than taking a wild guess and hoping for the best.

Our toughest towing kits is of the flat belt webbing variety and can handle up to 14 tonnes of capacity. So you should be able to buy the right rope for the job on our site.
